The goals of this section are to:
- Clarify and streamline the governance of AV technology projects.
- Clarify and better understand the split of activities and responsibilities between System/Product Streams and the AV Program.
- Provide guidance on how to apply PCP R&D processes to the AV Program and along the way identify where/if additions or modifications may be needed.
- Distribute information in a user-friendly and accessible manner.
- This section is not intended to override or contradict the existing R&D QMS. If conflicts or lacking information are identified while producing this section, they will be addressed to the appropriate process group for discussion and eventual process modification.
At first, these AV Guidelines will focus on the project deliverable (subproject) level. We will add further information on components, frequent releases, CI/CD, etc. as necessary.
