Hardware Engineer
The hardware engineer (electrical/mechanical/logical) develops hardware solutions by analyzing requirements, designing, implementing, integrating, and testing hardware for products or systems.
Description
The main work of a hardware engineer is to develop hardware solutions, including testing and debugging, manufacturability as well maintaining and improving the hardware once it is in operation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the solutions.
- Ensure the quality of the solution (reviews, tests, etc.).
- Integrate the solution into production, and ensure it works as expected.
- Improve the quality of existing hardware (correct defects, root cause analysis, etc.).
- Increase knowledge of relevant new technologies that can be used in the future.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with other colleagues in cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
- Apply a sense of urgency, commitment, and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion.

- Ensure required policies and standards are followed (product standards, electrical and functional safety, IEC, UL, etc.).
- Ensure required guidelines and instructions are followed.
- Utilize modern hardware engineering tools.
- Support the introduction of new hardware components.
