The cluster lead develops talent within their organization by identifying, nurturing, and promoting professionals in their teams. They are responsible for ensuring that the necessary competencies are available in their cluster and taking action to address any competency gaps.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and hire talent to fill team positions.
  • Provide training and support to new hires.
  • Cross-train employees for multiple roles to ensure job rotation and address assignment coverage gaps.
  • Offer coaching and performance feedback to all team members.
  • Communicate and ensure understanding of functional or departmental goals.
  • Monitor individual and team metrics and performance against targets.
  • Identify the need for corrective actions.
  • Ensure quality standards for all processes.
  • Evaluate overall team and individual performance and conduct performance reviews.
  • Engage and coordinate with other line managers across the organization.
  • Provide reports on productivity and other performance indicators to management.
  • Identify competency gaps and ensure employees have the necessary training to perform their roles.
  • Ensure competency transfer when employees leave or move to new assignments.
