Reference: Engineering Service Request (ESR) vs Engineering Change Order (ECO)

The engineering service request is the main template to be used during development. The purpose of this site is to reference the two different options when communicating with a Service Provider (for instance layout work, parts list, etc.).

Engineering Service Request (ESR)​

The purpose of the Engineering service request (ESR) is to request an update on information in specific documentation from the Service Provider. This is used to request updates during development.

Engineering change order (ECO)​

The engineering change order process has been created by the quality team. An ECO is drafted in Jira by R&D, please see the guide below for more information.
